Close to the woods of Saint Germain en Laye, the Château de Maisons was built in the 17th Century by François Mansart, one of the most brilliant architects of his time, for a wealthy aristocrat of Paris. It is considered as the first "modern" châteaux, as the architect introduced original elements among them, the main staircase at the entrance hall, which was unknown in earlier châteaux’s.
The wedding takes place in the main floor, in the apartments of the Count of Artois, who was the brother of king Louis 16th.
The Chateau is located in Maisons-Laffitte, very close to Paris, it offers an exceptional frame for an unforgettable wedding allowing couples and guests to stay overnight in Paris.
